Jacquelin Perske
ROLE: Producer & Writer

Writer, producer and co-creator of ‘Spirited’ her work credit list is almost as long as your arm. As a writer and script producer she has contributed to TV series ‘Big Sky’, ‘The Secret Life Of Us’, ‘Fireflies’ and also ‘Love My Way’ as well as the critically acclaimed Australian film ‘Little Fish’. Her work as a co-producer on the series ‘Love My Way’ along with fellow co-producers John Edwards and Claudia Karvan, which received 24 AFI nominations and 14 AFI wins over the course of the entire 3 seasons, helped pave the way for new Australian drama aired on non-network channels. She also worked as a production assistant on the film ‘Romper Stomper’ as well as part of a collaborative writing team for George Lucas’ live-action TV series ‘Star Wars: Underworld’

Claudia Karvan
ROLE: Producer (& Actor)

It’s been a natural progression for Claudia Karvan to move from being in front of the camera to working behind it. She made her directorial debut in an episode of ‘The Secret Life Of Us’, in which she was starring in at the time. From there she moved on to the TV series ‘Love My Way’, which she co-created and co-produced with John Edwards and Jacquelin Perske. After the success of ‘Love My Way’ Karvan once again teamed up with Jacquelin and John to begin work on ‘Spirited’.

John Edwards
ROLE: Executive Producer

The co-creator and man who has helmed a ridiculously long string of successful television series, if it was an Australian series he was probably a part of it somehow. He was the co-creator for ‘The Secret Life Of Us’, ‘Love My Way’, ‘Rush’, ‘Tangle’, ‘Offspring’ and mini-series ‘Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo’. As executive producer or co-producer he’s also worked on ‘Fireflies’, ‘The Alice’, ‘Dangerous’ and will soon be credited with the ‘Beaconsfield’ mini-series. Collectively over the course of his career productions he’s been involved in has won 19 Logie Awards, 30 AFI Awards, 8 ASTRA Awards, 4 People’s Choice Awards, and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.

Jed Kurzel
ROLE: Composer

Not only is he the front-man and half of Sydney alt-rock duo The Mess Hall, he’s also the man behind the music for ‘Spirited’. Jed began providing compositions and music for several short films between working on material for The Mess Hall, as well as providing the score for documentary ‘Naked On The Inside’. He also composed the music for ‘Savage River’ a Griffin Theatre production; proving that he can also work in a live action environment. The Australian film ‘Snowtown’ recently provided Jed with his feature film debut as a composer, whilst ‘Spirited’ has provided him with his TV series debut as a composer.
