Spirited Locations
With the departure of The Elysian at the end of Season 2 Spirited-TV.net thought it was only fitting for fans to get one final, lasting, up close and personal look at this amazing building that has been home to Henry and Suzy for two years.
However, once we started we couldn’t stop there, so we have also included several other locations of note and hope to add many more in the future.
Below are teasers from our exclusive photoshoot in Sydney …we even brought our own (Miss) Mallet model for extra effect. Click the images to enlarge.
The Elysian: Foyer Elevators
The four walls of these lifts have contained many pivotal conversations throughout season 1 and 2 of Spirited. The original mirror backings are covered over during filming to prevent crew reflections.

The Elysian: Staircase
The building’s trademark lifts are out of order? Never fear, The Elysian’s grand staircase is here to help you leave the building in style or just as a great place to hang out with friends… it even makes a good location for ‘The Family Photo’.

The Elysian: Foyer
The front desk and familiar entrance to The Elysian, re-enacted to match episode 2.09 with Miss Mallet perched atop the counter bidding farewell to Elvis.

The Elysian: Double Door Entrance
The main entrance to the building has seen many people come and go throughout season 1 and 2. Henry can often be found lingering outside these doors at the end of a long day, waiting for Suzy to come home. The lions that usually keep guard of The Elysian have been stored just inside the doorway for safekeeping.

The Elysian: Dentique
Dentique is Suzy Darling’s dentist surgery, attached to and accessible via the ground floor of The Elysian. Pictured below it is dressed down from the film set and used as a store for rent. The doorway to the surgery appears frequently throughout the series, but its most notable moment is during ‘Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik’ when Henry tells Suzy that some of the best memories of his life were made after he died.

The Elysian: Driveway
It has seen ghostly taxis, cartwheels, groupies, imposters, drop offs and more. There’s always something happening out on the drive way in front of The Elysian.

The Elysian: Building Exterior
The Stamford Plaza (aka The Elysian) was such a gorgeous setting for the first two seasons of Spirited. Before the ghosts even arrived its grandeur alone was mesmerising.

The Elysian: Building Interior
The Elysian is filled with an array of old furniture, spectacularly patterned carpets and wallpaper.

The Elysian: Trapped by Fog
1.02 Everybody Loves You When You’re Dead
There’s a ghostly fog surrounding The Elysian that prevents Henry from ever leaving.

Restaurant
1.05 Wake Up Little Suzy
Steve has an important business meeting, but he needs to appear as a ‘family man. He brings Jonquil along to play the part of his wife. Lunch takes place at this Sydney yacht club down by the wharf.

Petrol Station
2.07 Dancing In The Dark
Suzy and Henry try “Spiriting” for the first time and fleetingly end up at this suburban petrol station.

Waverley Cemetery
Pictured: 1.01 The Man Who Fell To Earth
The first images we ever saw on Spirited were of Suzy jogging through Waverley Cemetery. This gorgeous cemetery is located in Sydney and is used perfectly to introduce us to Suzy whilst commenting on her emotional relationship with death.
